THIRTY GOLDEN MILESTONES FOR AMAN: AS AMAN CLOCKS THIRTY OFFICIALLY TODAY!!!!

We celebrate with our AMAN community worldwide as AMAN IS THIRTY officially today to the glory of God Almighty.

Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission Nigeria on the 28th of March 1995, the Artiste Managers Association In Nigeria (AMAN) turned thirty today, 28th March 2025 and it’s been thirty years of dedicated service, passion, purpose, progress, protection, resilience, perseverance, hard work, commitment, loyalty, relentless hope, learning and of dreaming big, that one day, our vision of having a rewarding creative industry in Nigeria, Africa and beyond, of young creatives making global positive impact creatively will be a reality. Today, we are here.

EXECUTIVE BRIEF
The Artiste Managers Association In Nigeria (AMAN) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization set up amongst other objectives to manage, improve, and promote the welfare of creatives in the creative industries in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.

Our goal is to inspire and influence more breakthroughs for African creatives and to reward excellence within the creative industries in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond, with a vision to make our African creatives more visible, more prosperous, and their works more rewarding and better appreciated globally.

Our mission is to nurture talents to stardom by building their confidence and courage, inspire hope, and infuse more innovation and technology into creativity to achieve global positive change for African creatives who dare to dream big, work hard to match their dreams with success and eventually rewrite history with their global presence and landmark achievements.

AMAN was registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 1995 with the aim of furthering the interests of creatives within the creative industries in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.

AMAN OBJECTIVES
AMAN – the acronym for the Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria is an organization in Nigeria that serves as a “springboard to stardom for creatives.”

AMAN has the following objectives, amongst others;

a) Identifying, mentoring, nurturing, supporting, and protecting creatives in the Nigeria creative industries,

b) Management of Artistes, and promoting their welfare in the creative industries in Nigeria,

c) Sponsoring of events, educating, enlightening, entertaining, nurturing, promoting, and harnessing the potential of creatives within the creative industries,

d) Collaborating efforts in the Nigerian creative industries with other creatives and their industries globally to advance creativity in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond to expose our talents further to the world and for mutual benefits,

e) Improving the image of Nigerian and African creatives and artistes globally for greater patronage and appreciation of our talents, their skills and crafts,

f). Provides a platform for creatives to enjoy professional networking and interface with stakeholders in the creative industries in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond,

g). Offers members’ rights protection, guidance, and advisory services to creatives, artistes, and their managers in relation to their rights when infringed upon,

h) Sharpens skills through skills acquisition, timely and periodic orientation programs like conferences, seminars, webinars, summits, workshops, and masterclasses for our members and creatives at large and for those providing intermediary services to artistes,

i). Increases job openings for artiste managers and industry personnel by organizing events that will inform and empower entertainers and those working in the entertainment industry towards promoting artistes locally and internationally for more patronage,

j) Serves as a springboard for young gifted artistes to showcase their talents to the world,

k) Will give economic advantage to Nigeria and Africa by stimulating the local economy of host communities through tourism by showcasing our indigenous arts, crafts, and culture,

l). Contributing to promoting new wave Nigerian popular music, Afro hip hop, and other genres of Nigerian music, which are highly sought after in the music industry internationally,

m) To reposition certain elements that play within the creative industries for the greater good of Nigerian creatives globally.

n) To recognize, celebrate, and encourage excellence, and reward hard work within the creative industries in Nigeria,

o) To inspire budding talents to accelerate their dreams of making a global impact through their talents, skills, and crafts,

p) To appreciate industry gatekeepers for their role, in helping to bring the dreams of young talented African creatives to reality,

THE FOUNDING TRUSTEE MEMBERS
The Artiste Managers Association In Nigeria (AMAN) is a dream of its founding members. While not limited to the under-listed persons, AMAN came into existence with the help of its founding trustees, namely:

(1) Chief Gilbert Oboh – Pioneer president – late,
(2) Collins Ifeanyi Onwuneme Ajereh Enebeli a.k.a. Mavin Grandpa Worldwide (MGW) – First vice president and serving president to date,
(3) Chief Osita Okwukogu – 2nd vice president (late),
(4) Tunji Olalere – Pioneer General Secretary (late).

CONCLUSION
As we approach the 2nd edition of the AMAN AWARDS as part of the events marking the AMAN AT THIRTY celebrations, we want to sincerely thank all those who have been a part of this incredible journey of service to humanity and have helped us to come this far.
We also wish to use this great opportunity to INVITE YOU ALL to join us on November 26th, 2025, as we celebrate AMAN AT THIRTY BIG with events we have lined up to commemorate our achievements in AMAN through three successive decades of unrelenting resilience, love, hard work, passion, vision, purpose, and community service to humanity.

As we advance, the question needing attention is: How have I, or am I contributing to the Nigerian creative space positively towards building a vibrant, youth-friendly, boisterous, buoyant, and prosperous creative industries in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond?
