I am Karifest Duchess Onyekaah Rita, fondly known as Iyanga Anioma—The Pride of Anioma Nation. This esteemed title is a reflection of my humble contributions to the growth of people and my deep connection to our Anioma heritage. As the Global Spokesperson for AMAN, I bring years of hands-on experience, creativity, and passion for advocacy to the table.
Through my foundation, the Karifest Foundation, I’ve dedicated myself to championing important causes, including talent development, supporting displaced African women and children, and leading community outreach initiatives. At the same time, I’ve worked to preserve our rich cultural heritage, which is something I hold close to my heart.
With a solid legal education that extends to postgraduate studies and almost two decades of experience in media and events, I’ve been able to amplify my voice to inspire change and uplift those in need. In 2008, I launched Karifest Magazine, which has become a platform to celebrate leadership, entertainment, and business excellence across the board.
Since 2013, I’ve also had the honour of hosting the Karifest Awards. This event recognises and celebrates extraordinary achievements that push boundaries and redefine possibilities. My commitment to these endeavours remains a source of pride for the Anioma people and the larger community that I serve. I hope this journey continues to leave a lasting legacy as a humanitarian, entrepreneur, media consultant, events curator, and passionate advocate for cultural identity preservation and global positive change.
