I joined the Artiste Managers Association In Nigeria (AMAN) on the 29th of November, 2023. When I joined the organization, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. All I knew was that I wanted to surround myself with others who shared my passion and commitment to music. What I found was more than just a group – it was a community of talented, driven, and supportive leaders and individuals who pushed me to reach new heights.
From my first practice session, the encouragement I received helped me break out of my comfort zone. Soon, I was taking part in group performances, collaborating with other members, and even attending workshops. Each opportunity helped me grow, both as a musician and as an individual, showing me the value of collaboration, practice, and creativity.
One of the highlights of my journey was participating in the Aman academy. Each class was too beautiful, and the support from the organization and fellow members was unparalleled.
I learnt a lot about music, which built my self-confidence as an artiste. Standing on stage, sharing music was unforgettable. That experience reinforced my commitment and taught me how powerful it is to share art with others.
To anyone considering joining – take the leap. Being part of this organization has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and it has so much to offer to anyone willing to embrace it.
Looking back, I can see how much I’ve grown, and I owe so much of that growth to the organization (AMAN) and everyone in it. I want to express my deepest gratitude to my president, Mavin Grandpa, who has encouraged and supported me all the way. And to AMAN as an organization. You’ve made this journey not only possible but deeply fulfilling.
